Have you ever had a cavity? Do you know anyone that has? Sadly, cavities are fairly common. Still, many people still avoid having cavities filled for a variety of reasons, including fear of the dentist and concern over prices. Another reason that people avoid this important treatment may be because they don’t understand the risks of letting a cavity go unattended.

For instance, did you know that a single cavity could make root canal therapy necessary if the issue isn’t addressed? You see, cavities are essentially decayed areas of a tooth. If this decay reaches the center of your tooth, and make root canal therapy necessary.

Fortunately, if you treat your cavity quickly you can prevent this problem. Unfortunately, stopping a cavity can’t be done without a dentist’s help. You see, cavities generally form near the back of your teeth where they can be difficult to spot.
